Thomas Dale Eimers, 69 of Grangeville passed away November 18, 2004 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
Tommy was born February 27, 1935 in Lewiston, Idaho a son of Dale and Zelma Eimers. He graduated from Grangeville High School in 1953 and attended the University of Idaho and then Kinman Business University in Spokane, WA where he graduated with a degree in Accounting. He served two years in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He returned to Grangeville where he married Janice Bomsta on September 25, 1960. They were later divorced. He worked at his fathers business, formerly Brown Motors and now Bell Equipment in Grangeville until his death.
He rodeoed professionally for two years and remained active in rodeo activities throughout his life. He was a member of the Idaho Cowboys Association, the Professional Rodeo Association and the Central Idaho Rodeo Association where he touched many lives both young and old. He was also a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Grangeville and the Grangeville Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his former wife, Janice of Spokane, his four children and their families, Michelle Eimers and husband Al Williams, of Spokane, WA, Kevin Eimers and wife Sondra and their children, Jacob and Heidi of Potlatch, ID, Kim Eimers-Rhodes and husband Doug and their children, Ashlee and Taylor of Nampa, ID and Carol Eimers of Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard and Teddy.
Tommy will be greatly missed by his family and by all the many friends and lives he touched. WE LOVE YOU DAD.
