GRANGEVILLE: Steven Lee Oliver, 37 of Grangeville passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 near Grangeville from a heart attack while cutting wood.
Steven was born August 21, 1975 at Fort Knox, Kentucky, the son of Linda Ray Andrews-
Wood and Charles Beltz Oliver.
He attended Eatonville High School and continued his education in the Job Corps where he earned his degree in auto body painting.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, quilting, 4-wheeling, fixing up his trucks and hanging out with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Wood of Grangeville, his sister, Leslie Olson and nieces Emily and Kate Olson of Ortig, WA. He is also survived by member of the Godwill Family, Goff Family, Andrew’s Family, Burkenbine Family, Jenson Family and Glover Family
Steven’s life would seem too short to many but those who were friends with him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time which one lives. He will be greatly milled by all the people he loved and befriended.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., at Fish Creek Campground with a potluck meal to follow.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
