GRANGEVILLE:Patricia Louise Lamb, 76 of Grangeville passed away September 16, 2012 at her home from cancer.
Pat was born January 17, 1936 in Lincoln Nebraska to Leo and Clara Cunningham, the fourth of ten children. She moved with her family to Idaho where she attended grade school at St. Teresa’s Academy in Boise. Her family then moved to Riggins where she attended high school until graduation in 1955. She later moved to Grangeville with her family and attended nursing school in Lewiston.
Pat lived and worked as a nurse and waitress in the Grangeville area for several years. Here she met a later married Ralph Lamb on April 7, 1957. Together they lived and worked on their ranches in Grangeville and Slate Creek.
Pat is survived by her husband Ralph and son Dean (Crystal) of Grangeville and her daughter Jill Marolf (Doug) of McCall; three granddaughters; Mindi, Alyssia and Karissa Lamb, and two grandsons, Wyatt and Ryder Marolf. She is also survived by five sisters.
A graveside service will be conducted by Father Mariusz Majewski, at the Prairie View Cemetery on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Services are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
Memorial donations are encouraged in Pat’s name to the Syringa Hospice, whose caring staff made it possible for mom to stay at her home throughout her illness.
