GRANGEVILLE: Margaret Murray, 74 of Grangeville passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her home in Grangeville.
Margaret was born July 12, 1937 at Carlsbad, New Mexico, the daughter of Lowell and Ruth Wilde Snarr. As a young girl she moved to Park Dale, Oregon and then to Goldendale, Washington where she graduated from high school. Following her graduation she attended Northwest Nazarene College graduating in 1960. She married Lloyd Murray in 1960 at Goldendale. They lived in Bingen and White Salmon, Washington before moving to Boise in 1966. They had lived in Meridian before moving to Marsing in 1995 and then moved to Grangeville in 2002. She was employed by Albertsons Sundries for 20 years.
She had a great sense of humor and loved her friends and extended family very much. She was a wealth of information and enjoyed sharing it with her family.
She loved music, playing solitaire, talking on the phone, singing with her friends at church and flowers. She was a member of the Marsing Church of the Nazarene, Valley Shepherd Nazarene Church and the Grangeville Gospel Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd of Grangeville, her children, Lloyd and Andrea Murray of Star, Idaho and Cyndi and Dave Breshears of Marsing, Idaho. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cody and Josie, Bailie, Whitlie, Gracie, Luke, Dylan, Brynn, Ryan and Tori, Colby and Jamie and her great grandchildren, Adeline, and Aiden J.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at the Grangeville Gospel Tabernacle. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, Grangeville. Friends may call Thursday, December 15, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
