He was born on December 29, 1944 in Merced, CA and grew up in a small town in California. Jim will be remembered for his passion of God’s word, zeal for study, and unending compassion. He loved spending time with family and friends. We will always remember his love, his compassion, and his willingness to help those who needed help. He had a servant’s heart and was always willing to do what needed to be done. Jim’s love for the outdoors is surpassed by none. His new found love, while living on his mountain, was wood carving.
He is survived by his wife, Kay; his children, Angela and husband Jon, Brenda and husband Mike, Casey and husband Chris, and Jim and wife Edna. He has five grandchildren, Valerie, Brittany, Shannon, Cheyenne, Abigail; and one great grandson, Christopher. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Shilo; his brother George, and sisters, Marge and Judy.
James was preceded in death by parents, George and Marie Allen, and a sister Bertha.
