Brett R. Jarolimek, 31

Brett Robert Jarolimek, 31, of Portland, Oregon and formerly of Burley and Grangeville, Idaho, was killed October 22, 2007, in a biking accident in Portland.

Brett Robert Jarolimek was born August 7, 1976 in Burley, Idaho where he grew up on a farm and graduated from Burley High School in 1994. Brett lived in several different places until he made his home in Portland and graduated in 2004 from Pacific Northwest Art College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Some of Brett’s favorite activities and interests included music, art, biking, camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents David and Karen Jarolimek of Grangeville, Idaho; sister and brother-in-law, Danel and Joe Arnzen of Lewiston, Idaho; brother, sister-in-law, and nephew

Brian, Gretta, and Harper of Genesee, Idaho; Grandma Gertrude Jarolimek of Burley; Grandparents, Glenn and Betty Rutledge of Grangeville, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and soon to be engaged to Sarah Beiers of Portland.

Brett is preceded in death by his brother Mark, Grandpa Robert Jarolimek, Aunt Sharla Wagner, and Uncle Terry Jarolimek.

Services will be at Blackmer Funeral Home in Grangeville, Idaho, on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Friday, October 26, 2007, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. for friends.
